Hush Puppies Site or Slipperwarehouse.com

Hush Puppies make great slippers.  You would assume that you'd want to go directly to their site to buy them, but like a lot of other sites their site UX (user experience) is lacking.  First off they make you choose your country before you enter their site.  This can be done away with using an geo/IP database which evaluates the user's IP address and sends them to the appropriate sub-site.  But lets say you choose your country and proceed on.  On their home page you are immediately prompted to enter your email address... why, I just want to browse your slippers!  So after clicking out of the light box I'm then able to choose the category I want.  But then again I found my eye searching for categories.  They use their prime (page) real estate for a cutesy picture of some models pouring water.. instead of showing products or categories.  (I realize the models are wearing some Hush Puppies but still...)

I much prefer sites like Slipperwarehouse.com when it comes to buying hush puppies slippers.  You aren't burdened or slowed down by annoying popup screens or asked to choose your country.
